Sidestep Roasters is a not-for-profit with a clear purpose: sell genuinely good coffee, keep the model simple, and direct proceeds and profits back toward people in our rugby community who are going through hard times. That might mean medical pressure, loss of work, family strain, a business taking a hit, or the sort of rough patch where a quiet hand from the community makes a real difference.

This is serious at heart, but it should still feel like rugby. We believe in backing your mates, checking in properly, and turning the ordinary things clubs already do into something useful. Buy the beans, pour the coffee, have the banter, and know that the proceeds are being aimed at a better place than a mystery admin drawer.

Our agenda is simple: help where we can, support our members, and make it easier for the rugby community to look after its own. No speeches from the sideline. No grandstanding. Just good coffee, clear purpose, and a community that knows how to band together when someone needs a hand.
